Did you know that under Chapter 102 of the Clean Streams Law, farmers that disturb the soil or have Animal Concentration Areas over 5,000 s.f. must have an Agricultural E&S plan?
However, farms may qualify for up to 75% project reimbursement in the form of State tax credits, up to $150,000.
Through the Resource Enhancement and Protection Program (REAP), farmers can earn tax credits for implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) that will enhance farm production and protect natural resources.
What you need:
- Current Agricultural E&S Plan
- Protected barnyard BMPs
- On-schedule plan implementation
