After more than 30 years of building, guiding, and advancing SDC, Brad Peters, PE, will transition from his role as President to focus exclusively on his responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer. Peters, who founded SDC and has been instrumental in shaping its reputation for technical excellence and client advocacy, will continue to provide strategic oversight and staff mentorship as the firm enters its next chapter.

Thomas B. Englerth II, PLS was named President

SDC is proud to announce that Thomas B. Englerth II, PLS, has been promoted to President. In this role, Englerth will oversee daily operations, lead company-wide initiatives, and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality engineering and surveying services. He will also be responsible for implementing strategic plans that support SDC’s growth and uphold the firm’s longstanding values.

Englerth brings extensive technical expertise, proven leadership, and a strong record of client service. His approach emphasizes collaboration, quality, and respectful project advocacy—principles that align closely with the foundation Peters established.
