Site Design Concepts, Inc. prepared site plans and specifications for renovations to the existing track and field at the Central York Middle School. Project plans called for 5 inches of existing turf and soil to be replaced, graded, seeded, and mulched. The existing bituminous high jump pad and the long jump runway have been resurfaced, and the existing cinder track was restored through the removal of weeds and the installation of additional cinders. The existing goal posts were removed, and new ones were installed. Additionally, a new water service hydrant has been installed adjacent to the track, which is served by a new 2 inch diameter water line that was extended from the west side of the school building.
