Princess Howard Mural Walls

105 S Howard St, York, PA 17401

  • 0.85-acre site
  • Central Business District (CBD) zoning

RSDC approached SDC for the design, development, and reconstruction of a 0.85-acre site, encompassing a parking lot, mural walls, landscaping, and a waste collection building. Nestled within the Central Business District, this project introduces an integration of urban amenities, boasting prominent vehicular access and frontage on South Duke Street, East Newton Avenue, South Howard Avenue, and close proximity to many downtown destinations. Our comprehensive plan included the consolidation of eleven properties, the construction of new parking areas, and the creation of a new waste collection facility. To tie the amenities together and meet the goals of the client, the final plan called for an interactive walking path linking the murals together into a pedestrian experience and district.
