An initiative by the City of Lebanon and the Lebanon County Redevelopment Authority, The Shoppes at the Bridges transformed a block of blighted rowhomes in the City of Lebanon into a thriving retail center.

SDC worked closely with the developer through what was guaranteed to be a dynamic land development process due to challenging existing site conditions including; elevated roadways along the east and west side of the Site, zoning variances, shallow bedrock, existing utilities on site, overhead electric lines traversing the site, and lack of parking in the surrounding area. SDC and the developer were able to overcome these challenges with creative design solutions and a proactive, yet flexible project schedule, which allowed the highly anticipated Project to come to fruition.

A Site that formerly housed condemned rowhomes and a vacated street now has been transformed into three (3) retail buildings. This project not only has brought economic drivers to the area, but also brings a grocery store offering healthy food options to a formerly designated food desert.
