Water Street Mission, a thriving non-profit organization in downtown Lancaster, sought to expand their existing campus to provide space for future growth and their existing Wonder Academy Pre-K program. As such, the organization purchased a former Parochial School in the SoWe district of downtown Lancaster as the new location for their campus expansion.

SDC partnered with a construction firm on a design-build effort to activate the previously vacant school and provide a destination for the SoWe neighborhood. The approved plans call for new offices and classrooms in the building as well as revised vehicular circulation, parking areas, a new playground, and a pedestrian trail connecting the School to the community.
