SDC’s Charity Kadwill presented at U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) 2016 GreenCon at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA on March 17. Her presentation, “Rain Gardens: Making Them Work Long-Term for Your Site,” highlighted how to maintain rain gardens for maximum performance on your site. She also detailed proper site preparation for installation, proper plant selection and maintenance, and proper cleanout for filtration and drainage functions. She also featured example rain gardens from all around Central PA.
