Site Design Concepts – Land Development Consultants

Site Design Concepts is an award-winning professional engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, and municipal services firm headquartered in historic downtown York, Pennsylvania. SDC was founded in 1994 with a passion to provide great service to our Clients, while designing Project Sites that are innovative, constructible, and cost-conscious. We are searching for a motivated individual to join our growing team of civil/site professionals as we design the communities in which we live, work, and play. Qualified candidates must have high-level verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills (AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office), strong work ethic, and the ability to work well alone and as part of a team.

As a Project Engineer/Stormwater Designer, you will use your design knowledge and skills to create innovative land development projects through the preparation of site layout, grading, utility plans, as well as stormwater management, soil erosion and sediment control, and infrastructure designs.

Our ideal person has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and is on the path to licensure as a professional engineer or professional landscape architect in Pennsylvania.

Position Requirements:

1. A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture, with 3-5 years of related experience.
2. EIT designation is helpful, but not mandatory.
3. Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
4. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
