With over 15,000 visitors every weekend, Morningstar Marketplace engaged Site Design Concepts to assist in revamping their existing facility and improve parking.

Due to existing ground slopes, SDC designed tiered parking for the facility to better manage stormwater runoff and limit the cost associated with earth moving activities while still accommodating enough parking for the growing number of visitors.

In the original land development plans, sanitary sewer service required design and approvals for a former on-site spray irrigation system due to public sewer not being available at the site. Years later, public sewers were installed on Lincoln Highway allowing connection to the Market. Morningstar once again engaged SDC to design and coordinate this work, which also included the conversion of the spray irrigation field to the site’s solar array.
